Multimediators was formed in 1989 to bring together computer graphic artists, producers, and others to create multimedia projects for business and educational applications. The wildfire growth of the Internet and 3D computer graphics opens new opportunities.

This Web Site is a tool, an online community, for artists, innovators, and virtual world explorers. The site covers:

3D Computer Design  3D design is being used more often today and is expected to challenge traditional 2D CAD.  It is relatively easy to learn to do computer design when solid objects are modeled.  The low cost of programs such as CADKEY, Rhino, 3D Studio MAX  and  Solid Works also encourages users to switch to 3D computer design.

Art Business & Computers  This section is a forum on 10 subjects. A super-writer would be needed to cover all subjects from all viewpoints in balanced, understandable writing.  The super-writer would have to be an art and economic historian, art and social critic, sociologist and scientist, and an artist and philosopher. No so such person exists; thus, the writing will be developed in the forum as a collective effort by those who express an interest in any of the 10 subjects. The beginning stage for this will be the New Dimensions of Art Data Bank.  Now, only my whimsical ABC resumes appear.

Gallery  The gallery is for images from any contributor. Artists who do kinetic light sculptures will be shown as well as 3D computer design artists.

Training & Tutorials  This section  will feature training  for specific new 3D computer design fields.

The site will change as interests and technology evolve. It has been said, "You don’t do multimedia alone." If you have questions or comments in this development stage, E-mail  ed_duin@msn.com.
